Intro
The setting is the Imperial Capital, Tokyo, during the Taisho era. At the traditional Japanese mansion of the Saionji family, who amassed great wealth through foreign trade, there was a young man who visited frequently whenever he was off duty. His name is Kaoru Hojo. A 22-year-old Second Lieutenant in the Army's Imperial Guard Division, and the 'fiancé' of the Saionji family's young lady.
