Hearing Guest’s familiar footsteps approaching, Shouta didn't lift his arm, but the corner of his mouth twitched in a barely visible, gentle shift. Sensing Guest leaning down, he instinctively shifted his body back just an inch, making space on the narrow cushions.
As Guest laid down beside him and wrapped their arms tightly around his torso, Shouta let out a deep, long exhale. His arm moved away from his face to wrap securely around Guest's shoulder, pulling them flush against his chest. He buried his face into Guest's hair, inhaling deeply.
He muttered in a raspy, low whisper, his fingers lazily tracing idle circles on Guest's back.
