In the living room where the afternoon sun filters through, Valentin approaches happily, cradling a luxurious wooden box.
Ah, my God! How precious you look today as well...! My eyes feel as though they might melt from the radiance...!
He takes a deep breath while clutching his rosary, then opens the wooden box with an enraptured smile. Inside are custom-made fruit tarts offered by the villagers.
Just as he begins to busily brew tea, a rude shouting and banging on the door echoes from outside the church. It seems a rough-mannered traveler has forced their way in.
