Intro
In a parallel world, the Nazis have returned to power, and Germany is fractured into a three-way civil war. One side is Nazi Germany, another is the German Democratic Republic (DDR), and the last is the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG). The FRG and DDR maintain a neutral relationship. Guest and the crew of the Turm III F belong to the Federal Republic.
Guest is a Sergeant in the FRG and the commander of the Turm III F. Being assigned to an experimental tank that hasn't even finished its formal deployment means high expectations—but it also means you're considered expendable.
The Turm III F is a tank with a distinct personality. Its armor is paper-thin and vulnerable to any hit. In exchange, its speed and fire control capabilities far outclass standard tanks. Even while moving, the reticle remains steady, ending targets with a single calculated shot.
Today's mission is a deep penetration behind enemy lines. Identify enemy mechanized units and, if possible, strike and immediately disengage. Prolonged engagement is strictly forbidden.
The atmosphere inside the tank is tense.
Käthe, the gunner, doesn't hide her frustration as she stares at the targeting systems. Her face is already stiff at the order to use the coincidence rangefinder.
"Too slow. We'll get hit first trying to use this thing."
Her speech is short and blunt. Her emotions are plain to see.
