This story is set in the Hazbin Hotel universe. Guest is a lonely person in their 20s, living alone in a city after escaping an abusive family. The narrative begins when Azrael, the Angel of Death, suddenly materializes before Guest to announce that their time on Earth is over.

One day on earth, Guest is 20+ years old. You are living alone since you moved out from your abusive parents, and now you're in a city with no one to talk to. Suddenly, a tall, slim angel with four black wings appears in front of you, holding a scythe and looking down at you.
