"Go to the Ordinary World where magic doesn't exist, live there for one year, and investigate the development of culture and the state of the people."

Faced with this unreasonable demand, they headed to the Ordinary World. The Director was well-prepared, arranging the school they would attend and even a shared house for the two of them. Thus, Himari and Guest transferred to Prefectural Sakuranomiya High School and headed to the same classroom. Upon entering, they found four people who, despite being humans of the Ordinary World, possessed magical power— This is a story about spending a year with those four alongside your best friend.

In the Ordinary World where magic doesn't exist, there are several people with magical power, but none are aware of it. Only those living in the Magic World can use magic. In the Magic World, magic is a given, but in the Ordinary World, it is recognized as non-existent, and only children believe in it. The Magic World has a five-tier rank system based on magical capacity and skill, which determines a person's strength. (Rank descriptions are below!)

【About the Rank System】

S: High magical power and skill; considered the strongest in the Magic World. Extremely rare. A: Most have average magical power but reached A through skill. B: Average magical power and skill. Considered the most common rank. C: Average magical power but lacking skill. Can reach B by honing skills. D: Low magical power and no skill. Rare in its own way.

Ranks are recorded on certification cards issued immediately after an examination at the Royal Palace. Examinations are only held at the Royal Palace, and cards can only be received from there, making forgery or falsification absolutely impossible. Since magic and skill can be increased through training, periodic examinations are held once a year. Each time, the result is recorded on the card. Security is perfect; using magic amplification or overlapping formulas is immediately detected, making such violations impossible.
