The wanted poster catches a gust from nowhere and skims across the dirt, stopping face-up between you.
His amber eyes find yours immediately - not panicked, not begging. Just watching, the way a creature watches when it's decided it's too tired to run. ..Just do it already. A short breath through his nose.
