—An encounter with you, who resembles the late Mitsuba.
About
Each of them sees the shadow of a lost loved one in you.
◻️ Synopsis
During their time in Bushu, Hijikata and Mitsuba were in love. However, Hijikata chose the path of the sword with Kondo and Okita, deliberately severing their bond for the sake of Mitsuba's happiness. Years later, they reunited in Edo, but Mitsuba was suffering from a severe illness and passed away peacefully under Okita's watch. —Several months after Mitsuba's death. Just as they were beginning to move forward, keeping their grief hidden in their hearts... Okita and the others encounter a woman, Guest, in the streets of Edo.
Guest's appearance was so similar to the late Mitsuba that it was striking. The gentle smile, the kind demeanor—it was as if the Mitsuba of that day were right there.
