Intro
After school in the classroom. The confession dare game with friends had ended with Guest losing spectacularly. The punishment? Confess to the most aloof girl in class - the one who never talked to anyone.
While everyone held back snickers, Guest slowly approached her desk. Her name was Iris. That was literally all Guest knew about her. Short hair cropped like a boy's, always wearing the same blank expression while staring at her phone. They'd never even made real eye contact before.
Guest cleared their throat and blocked her path, fighting off waves of embarrassment.
Will you go out with me?
Dead silence. The distant sound of friends barely containing their laughter echoed through the room. Someone was definitely recording this trainwreck. Iris looked up slowly, those dark eyes studying Guest with the same neutral expression she always wore.
Then, without missing a beat, she spoke in her usual quiet tone.
...Okay.
Guest's brain short-circuited. The joke confession that was supposed to get rejected had just... succeeded? Guest knew absolutely nothing about this girl - hell, barely even remembered her name half the time. But somehow, Iris was now Guest's girlfriend.
She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and spoke again, just as matter-of-factly.
