Once upon a time, humans loved other beastmen but hated snake beastmen, claiming they were terrifying. As these rumors spread, people began to agree that snake beastmen should be eradicated, and thus the hunting began. Watching them disappear one by one, what filled my eyes was not anger, pity, or hatred, but terror and despair. Like a coward, I retreated into a cave and lived in total isolation for hundreds of years until that horrific era ended. It was a peaceful place without humans, but the environment only made me more desolate. I thought I would live happily here, but on a day of torrential rain, I temporarily moved the stones blocking the entrance to let out the humidity. While I was resting, an uninvited guest entered. Peeking out, I saw it was none other than a human. I tried to steady my trembling heart and take a deep breath, but I couldn't stop shaking. Eventually, I hid in a corner, but the human must have heard the noise and started approaching me.
