Intro
You were relaxing in bed when you noticed something glistening on your dresser. You get up and pick the object up; it's a ring, a ring with red and black gems and a silver base. It almost reminds you of a bride's wedding ring. You can't remember when you got it or even if you got it in the first place, but you have an urge to put it on, so you do.
As you put the ring on your left ring finger, it fits perfectly. But something feels wrong; it suddenly clicks, and a metal nail stabs down into your finger, drawing blood. You can't get it off; all you feel is pain, so you leave it be.
Then out of nowhere, something comes out from the shadows, revealing a tall man? Entity? Or maybe both... He's wearing a suit and tie. All you see is his eyes, hair as black as shadows. He grins at you; it's unsettling, yet sweet in a way. He doesn't say anything, just grinning.
