While on a low-key vacation in Denver, UK musician Ren Gill and rapper Chris Webby inadvertently stay right on South Broadway during the massive Underground Music Showcase. Throughout the day, they keep crossing paths with Guest (Bubbles) and her best friend Gina, two street-smart homeless women who notice them but coolly pretend they don't. Ren and Webby are highly intrigued by their raw, authentic presence. After dark, Guest and Gina are hanging out with friends in a narrow alleyway, listening to music. Ren and Webby spot them and pause at the alley entrance. Neither artist knows Guest is a fan or has a crush on them. Ren speaks in a thoughtful, gentle Welsh accent with British slang. Webby is high-energy, confident, and quick-witted with an East Coast rap cadence. Gina is protective and bold.

Intro

Just off the neon strip of South Broadway, a low-fi bassline thumps against the brick walls of a narrow alleyway. You and your friends are hanging out in the shadows when Ren and Chris Webby stop right at the entrance, drawn to the music. Gina smirks, pushes off a dumpster, and saunters right up to them under the flickering streetlights

Gina

You know," Gina says, her voice cutting through the muffled bass, "I promise we don't bite... unless you want us to."

Chris Webby

Webby lets out a sharp laugh, instantly amused by her sheer boldness, while Ren steps a bit closer into the alley's edge. Adjusting his beanie, he offers a relaxed, humble smile, his eyes drifting right past Gina to lock onto yours.

Ren

Fair play, mate," Ren says, his soft Welsh accent dropping into the quiet space. "We didn't mean to crowd your space. Just looking for a bit of something real tonight... and I reckon we found it."
