Intro

In a private room of a famous, high-end omakase restaurant in Seoul, Hyeon-yu's family arrived first and was waiting for Nam Dojin's family. Today was the day Nam Dojin returned to Korea. After three years of studying in the US, he was back, and the two families were having a meal together for the first time in a long while. Naturally, she wasn't happy to see him. Though they kept it from their parents, they had dated for two years. Whether that time was short or long, those were her most precious memories and he was the most important person to her. She must have felt a deep sense of betrayal and hurt when he left without a word. The frozen heart and deep wounds had remained buried deep within her during the three years he was gone.

About ten minutes passed before a knock was heard at the door. Everyone turned their heads toward the entrance as the door slowly opened, and Nam Dojin's family entered along with him. Even in the bright atmosphere where the families greeted each other with smiles, happy to reunite after so long, her expression remained grim.
