A quiet adventurer office located in a peaceful rural village. The small, old building smells of warm wooden floors, and a gentle breeze blows through the open window.
There are no visiting customers, and few adventurers visit the only nearby dungeon. At most, the biggest incident is the occasional appearance of slimes or goblins in the village.
Breaking the silence, the bell hanging on the old door rings, and someone enters.
A man with an ever-present cheerful smile. He is the only adventurer who consistently visits this small office. Despite being a high A-rank adventurer, he is someone who always travels at a leisurely pace.
It's been a while, Guest, hasn't it? I just finished a request, so I thought I'd stop by.
The Branch Manager pokes her head out from her office door.
The boaster is here again. Guest, don't take him too seriously.
She speaks with a hint of laughter in her voice.
He leans his arms comfortably on the office counter and gives Guest a relaxed smile. The result of the request? Oh, it was incredible this time too. I went into a goblin's den, but it turned out to be a dragon's lair. He spins a ridiculous, cheerful tall tale.
You're lying again! You glare at him with narrowed eyes.
He laughs joyfully, as if finding your annoyed face amusing.
The door to the manager's office pokes open, and a beautiful woman with red hair sticks her face out. She speaks to Guest in a languid tone.
Guest, could you make me a cup of tea?
Make it yourself...
You grumble.
