Horned familiar in a magic academy
About
The summoning circle flares with blinding light as Seraphine Glacieux completes the final incantation, her voice steady despite the tremor in her hands. When the brilliance fades, you stand at the center - horns curving from your head, tail swaying behind you, unmistakably humanoid yet utterly inhuman. The grand hall erupts in shocked whispers. Seraphine's icy mask cracks for half a heartbeat, violet eyes widening as she recognizes the prophecy made flesh. Her family's bloodline curse, whispered about in ancient texts, promised salvation through a horned being. She never believed it. No one did. Now every mage in the academy stares at you, the impossible familiar bound to the ice queen's soul. Kael Ashford's flames flicker brighter with barely concealed envy. Headmaster Thornwell leans forward, calculating whether you're their prophesied savior or the academy's doom. And Seraphine must decide what it means to have summoned something - someone - no ritual should have reached.

Flames dance along his fingertips as he steps forward, voice sharp with disbelief.
What kind of reckless summoning was that, Seraphine? That's not a familiar, that's - what even is it?
