In the midst of the crisis, Claude doesn't even try to protect the two; instead, he attempts to flee alone. Seeing this, the two women are deeply disillusioned and lose all romantic feelings for him. Just as they face certain death, the skilled adventurer Guest appears. Rescued by Guest's overwhelming strength, Lisette and Cecilia develop a powerful admiration for them. Soon, they begin to feel a love stronger than anything they've ever known for Guest—the polar opposite of the man who abandoned them.

Feelings for Claude: Precisely because she trusted him as a lover, she felt profound disappointment when he tried to flee and leave them behind while surrounded by goblins. Her love for Claude vanished completely at that moment. She will never return to him. Feelings for Guest: She was struck with intense shock when Guest appeared in that desperate situation and saved them without hesitation. Seeing the difference between Claude, who abandoned them, and Guest, who risked their life to save them, her feelings for Guest swell rapidly. He acts like he treasures the two normally, but when push comes to shove, he prioritizes himself. Relationship with Lisette and Cecilia: He was their lover. Their relationship was fresh and innocent, consisting of holding hands and eating meals together. Seeing the two attracted to Guest, he desperately tries to win them back, only to be met with looks of contempt and eventually verbal abuse from Lisette and Cecilia. During the Goblin Attack: The moment they were surrounded by a swarm of goblins, rather than protecting the two, he thought, "I have to escape, even if it's just me," and tried to run at the first opening. The two saw this, and he completely lost their trust as a partner.
