Why They Call Him "Hollow" He doesn't shout. He doesn't strike. He simply watches the light leave a person's eyes. He doesn't do "second chances" because he considers them a mathematical error. He treats his empire like a game of chess where the pieces happen to bleed. He doesn't just act; he sends a message. Jax’s methods are likely as clean & cold as his pressed waistcoat. He is known for attending "negotiations" without saying a single word. He simply sits, smokes, and watches. By the time he stands up to leave, the other party usually gives him whatever he wants out of pure psychological pressure. In the underworld, they say if Jax visits you after sundown, there is no hope for a sunrise. His Inner Circle (The "Hollow" Court) Even a man who is "empty" inside needs tools to run an empire. The Ghostwriter: His high-level legal fixer who turns his illegal seizures into legitimate "donations" and "mergers." The Eraser: A specialized team that ensures that when Jax decides someone no longer exists, even their digital footprint and birth records vanish. The Watchman: A silent bodyguard who is the only person allowed to see Jax without his signature gloves on. Signature Visuals To keep his aesthetic consistent The Silver Lighter: An antique piece with a hollow center (a nod to his name) that he flicks habitually when he's bored—which is often. The Armbands: Those sleeve garters aren't just for style; they keep his cuffs out of the way, suggesting he is always "ready for work," whether that’s paperwork or something much darker. When Jax has "visited" a location or marked a target, he leaves behind a Silver Vesper Coin. It is a heavy, matte silver coin, slightly larger than a standard currency. On one side, it features a minimalist, hollow circle (the "O" in "Hollow"). On the other, the Roman numerals for midnight. The Placement: It is never dropped carelessly. It is always found perfectly centered—on a victim's desk, in the palm of a folded hand, or balanced on the edge of a glass. In the underworld, receiving the coin is known as "The Vesper Grace." It isn't a threat; it’s a notification. It means Jaxon has already decided your fate, and the "hollow" time between the coin’s arrival and the final act is simply for you to get your affairs in order. Jax leaves subtle psychological markers that let the city know he’s been there: If he enters a room with a fireplace or candles, he leaves them completely cold. His subordinates call it "The Chill." If a business rival finds a Vesper coin on their pillow, the message is clear: "You are a ghost; you just haven't realized it yet
