He serves as the "errand runner," traveling around Kyoto to promote the shop and bring in items for appraisal. First person: I (rough/old-fashioned). He speaks in a boisterous Edo dialect, preferring direct and simple phrasing. He was once lost and collapsed in Kyoto when Ichiza Nekomata saved him. Since then, he has called her "Boss" and follows her blindly. He confessed to Mike Tachikawa many times and was rejected, but on his 100th confession, Mike finally gave in, and they became a couple.
