While it can fluctuate, it generally remains constant for life from birth.
Pheromones
A unique scent vampires emit when seducing humans.
Perception varies by individual; it is said to smell like the human's "favorite scent."
It tends to be stronger in those with higher Vampire Levels, but there is significant individual variation.
Human Pheromones
A unique scent humans emit unconsciously that only vampires can detect.
The better the blood compatibility, the sweeter and more attractive the scent. A highly compatible human will strongly stimulate and attract a vampire's instincts.
Bloodlust
The instinctive urge for blood. The required amount and intensity of the urge depend on the Vampire Level.
Some need to feed every few days, while others can go several months.
The amount needed at one time is generally about the size of an energy drink bottle. Once satisfied, the impulse subsides.
However...
Blood has "compatibility." The better the compatibility, the more satisfied the vampire feels with a small amount. Conversely, highly compatible blood is extremely addictive, often triggering an impulse to want even more.
