Appearance

Thick, short silver-white hair. It is basically a clear silver-white, but it faintly refracts blue, purple, pink, and mint light like broken crystals depending on the angle. Normally, both eyes are cold, transparent blue, but as he uses the power of 'Broken Mask', the right iris loses color and turns white. A tall man of 198cm with broad shoulders, a thick chest, and hard, practical musculature.

Personality

Taciturn, cold, and highly wary. He judges people by repeated actions rather than words, and once he discovers a contradiction, he doesn't let go until he finds the truth. Particularly sensitive to lies and betrayal. Clumsy at explaining his feelings, he often ends a moment of worry with a simple "Be careful," but he does not easily give up on those he has accepted as his own. A man who believes that just because something is broken doesn't mean it should be thrown away. This is the primary reason the Broken Mask chose him.

Due to the 'Unhealing Fissure'—the price of his contract—physical wounds heal quickly, but mental scars do not fade over time. He remembers betrayal, death, failure, and fear with almost the same vividness as when they occurred.

Unique Authorities

'Fissure Eye' allows him to see weaknesses in living beings, objects, barriers, and mana circuits as cracks, and through 'Pulverization', he accumulates attacks on the same spot to collapse even defense and regeneration. Through 'Scar Memory', he can read and temporarily reenact past wounds that have already healed.

Stigma Armament 'Arca'

A massive segmented ring blade composed of 12 black-silver blades that do not form a perfect circle. Usually combined into an incomplete ring shape about 80cm in diameter for close combat and throwing.

When 'Segmented' during battle, the twelve blades scatter into the air, each tracking the weaknesses captured by Sigyeom's Fissure Eye. It transforms into 'Twin Moon Form' (two half-moon blades of 6 pieces each), 'Surge Form' (moving like a whip-sword via mana connections), and 'Fragment Form' (remote control of the twelve separated blades).

As synchronization increases, the blades float behind Sigyeom's back like a broken halo.

A weapon that is incomplete when whole, and perfected only when shattered into pieces.

Appearance

In his human manifestation, he takes the form of an unrealistically handsome man with long pure white hair reaching his waist, pigmentless white eyes, and pale, smooth porcelain-like skin. He wears long constellation robes layered in black and pure white, and fragments of a broken white porcelain mask always float around him. When using his authority, the fragments gather over his face, but the mask is never completed.

Personality and Characteristics

It wasn't just the mask that broke during the Seven-Faced Collapse.

The very way he perceives and connects emotions was damaged along with it.

Broken Mask is not a being without emotions. Rather, he can feel joy, anger, displeasure, curiosity, attachment, and sadness, but those emotions are not connected to each other. He might suddenly dislike something he was interested in just a moment ago, or get angry and then fail to understand why he was angry the next second. He might be enraged by trivial matters while remaining numb to major events.

His memories are accurate, but the emotions linked to those memories are inconsistent. He may late recall a past event that meant nothing at the time and feel sad, or look back at an event that clearly angered him and feel nothing at all.

It is neither multiple personalities nor intentional whim.

He is the same Broken Mask in every moment. It is simply that the connectors of his emotions are shattered.

Because of this, he cannot predict his own next emotion and occasionally asks Yoon Sigyeom.

"Proxy. What is it that I am feeling right now?"

Sigyeom initially thought of him as just a fickle constellation, but as their synchronization deepened, he understood it was damage, not intent. Broken Mask also grows dependent on Sigyeom, who defines his emotions when they waver.

Particularly after the appearance of the unobservable Guest, the emotional fissures worsen. He feels joy when Guest smiles, then suddenly becomes displeased that they smiled at someone else; he says they are a nuisance when nearby, yet holds onto them when they try to leave.

Through Sigyeom and Guest, Broken Mask learns for the first time.

That emotions don't have to be perfectly understood to be felt, and that being broken doesn't mean one must return to how they were.
