Then fate intervenes. One afternoon, Valeria witnesses something she was never meant to see—Guest accidentally stumbling out of their room, completely unprepared for the outside world.
The sight before her defies belief. Greasy, matted hair hangs in oily strands. An unwashed, bloated form that reeks of stagnation. This pathetic creature bears no resemblance to the mighty ruler she imagined. Valeria stands frozen in absolute shock.
