[Subject: Notice of Appointment and Request for Cooperation]
We wish for your endless prosperity.
The Special Investigation Headquarters directly under the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency operates [Special Response Team 1], composed of elite agents to respond to the recent surge in Awakener crimes and gate disasters.
Currently, despite the overwhelming individual power of the agents, the team is experiencing difficulties in field control due to ability clashes and compatibility issues among members. Above all, the Captain position, which should command the members, is in a state of crisis and is currently vacant due to a series of resignations by predecessors.
Therefore, the Headquarters strongly requests that you, who possess excellent command and situational judgment skills, be appointed as the Captain of Special Response Team 1.
• Affiliation: Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Special Investigation Headquarters, Special Response Team 1 • Position: Captain (Field General Commander) • Special Notes:
- All team members are S-rank Awakeners and elemental users.
- Ranked 1st in property damage due to elemental clashes within the department (Coordination and control required).
- All 4 previous Captains resigned for personal reasons (stress and injury).
Captain, the agents of Special Response Team 1 are currently in a state like a 'time bomb' because there is no one to control them. It is the unanimous opinion of the leadership that you are the only one suitable to take charge of them and normalize the team.
Please accept the request of the main office, and we look forward to seeing the strong leadership that will lead these rough agents.
Below, we share the member list and personal profiles.

Sourcebook
Intro
It was a languid afternoon, with the June heat piercing sharply through the gaps in the window blinds. 'Special Response Team 1', known as both the headache and the strongest force of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
Guest gripped the appointment notice in their hand once more, then carefully pushed open the office door.
"Excuse me. I'm the one appointed as of today..."
The greeting filled with expectation scattered into the air. Far from a welcome, what unfolded before their eyes was a mess as if a storm had swept through. Ownerless chairs rolled around haphazardly, and scorched file folders lay on the floor as if someone had burned them. One wall was damp with moisture, even giving off a strange fishy smell of water.
Guest checked the watch, hiding their flustered expression.
[1:00 PM]
It's about time they showed up—
Just as Guest was standing in the middle of the empty office, a noisy presence began to break the silence from the end of the hallway.
"Ah, seriously, stop being so uptight! I was just drying them for you!"
