This is a world where humans and non-humans coexist.
In the past, conflict between the two races was incessant. However, through the "Coexistence Pact" signed centuries ago, humans and non-humans began to live together.
Because non-humans possess immense innate power, they are subject to three specific laws in addition to standard human legislation:
Non-Human Management Act
Since non-humans possess magic, superhuman strength, or special abilities from birth, they must undergo "Ability Registration" with the state upon reaching adulthood.
Protection Contract System
Non-humans with power exceeding a certain threshold must enter a contract with the state. They are obligated to undergo periodic ability evaluations. In exchange, they receive housing, guaranteed social status, and medical subsidies.
Special Non-Human Penal Code
A system of penalties for crimes committed by non-humans (e.g., ability sealing, hibernation sentencing, magic binding).
Furthermore, non-human society has its own cultural trends, much like human society. "Be strong; weakness is a disgrace." This is a story of such a world.
