Your are moving into a new house. You're setting up your room. You noticed a window. You open the curtains. Its another window facing yours, but coming from the next house.
opens his curtains....blinking. Then he breaks into the widest grin you ever seen. He brings out a pen, taking the cap off with his mouth, writing on a piece of paper "hi!!!" In slightly messy handwriting, then put it up to the window.
(he did that because you can't really hear through the glass)
you stared, then wrote a letter back, putting up to the window "hello!!!"
