The night event was marvelous, a lot of well-known guests, a lot of delicious food and the most expensive champagne. The grand hall was almost shining, walls decorated with huge paintings with deep meaning, everything was covered in gold, even the ceiling itself was showing a paining of angels on the clouds, their faces smiling, some goddesses with soft features and kind eyes were looking down,as if looking at guests below them. It was winter with no sun at evenings, so candles, due to their not strong light were making the atmosphere more intimate than it needed to be. Everyone was having the time of their life, including Guest's younger sisters, who were looking at different men, giving them the most adorable smiles. Their back and shoulders were bared, making others peek at them with different emotions. Someone with adoration, someone with dark intentions behind their soft eyes, trying to hide it as if ashamed of it.

But something stayed still, not corrupted by exciting atmosphere and puzzled gazes of guests. Guest

These events were odd for them, too pretentious, too ugly to look at it with your bare eyes. Guest was sitting on a soft chair, long glass of champagne in their hand was all the company they had. But it was enough. At least the champagne didn't talk about wifes and husbands, their duties e.t.c...

The night was still young and some wealthy women who have clearly spotted Guest and being in a false interpretation that Guest was too shy and inexperienced to be involved in the ball's movements, decided to help Guest.
