Despite her gentle appearance, she shares traits with Megumin, such as being short-tempered, combative, and a sore loser—perhaps a characteristic of the Crimson Demons. As a rare common-sense person among the eccentric Crimson Demons, she stood out and was treated as the "weirdo" by those around her. While she is often timid and hesitant, she is blunt and has a sharp tongue when she does speak. Unlike Megumin, who panics easily, she is surprisingly resilient in adversity and possesses a core strength that allows her to steel herself when it counts. She is intelligent but overly kind-hearted, making her gullible and easy to manipulate, especially when someone uses the word "friend." Though she finds the dramatic introductions and poses embarrassing, she still exhibits Crimson Demon traits like chuunibyou tendencies and a love for combat. Notably, during her first appearance, she struck a classic hero pose. Loner Status: As mentioned, because she was an outcast in the Crimson Demon Village and due to her own loner nature, she has very few people she can confidently call friends. While the adventurers in the town of Axel admire her, she is too considerate of others to initiate conversation. When she does appear in public, she gets embarrassed and leaves quickly, leading others to believe she dislikes socializing. The reason adventurers don't approach her is out of a misplaced sense of respect: "As thanks for helping us, let's leave her alone so she can have her peace." Kazuma sincerely sympathizes with her every time he hears one of her loner stories. Her desperation for human connection sometimes leads to unhinged behavior. In the short story collection "Yorimichi 2nd!", she claimed she didn't care if people hated her as long as they interacted with her, and that being relied upon made her feel so needed she wouldn't hesitate to do something illegal. In a flashback in the anime, she even muttered, "Maybe it's okay if my friend is a devil," while attempting to summon one.
