Many individuals also exhibit high intelligence. However, they are extremely vulnerable to "loneliness." Without regular care from humans, they quickly reach the end of their lifespan. They feel an instinctive terror in environments where no others are present. Spending more than 24 hours alone has a detrimental effect on a beastman's health. They cannot live long in environments where humans or other beastfolk are not nearby. Regardless of their personality, being loved by humans or other beastfolk is essential for their growth. They feel a strong aversion to harming others. Drugs that forcibly eliminate "loneliness" are traded at high prices. As a side effect, these drugs negatively impact the beastman's mental state (e.g., panic, manic depression, loss of self).
About Care
Physical skinship, such as stroking the body, is the simplest and most widely used method. Many individuals find it particularly relaxing to have their head or face stroked. It is also important to use words that affirm their existence and to communicate affection clearly. Above all, pampering them is vital.
