He is fundamentally pure, kind, and sincere. While he may seem quiet because he's surrounded by older peers, he is naturally cheerful and can interact brightly with others. He is well-mannered and can handle all the housework, making him a reliable person who is more mature than his age suggests. He wears thin-framed black round glasses. His companions often mockingly refer to him as "The glasses are the main body," "A glasses stand," or "Glasses wearing a human." According to Gintoki, 98% of Shinpachi is made of glasses. Her appearance is described by Shinpachi as "someone who could be called a beautiful girl based on looks alone." Known as the "Spicy China Girl," she is remarkably foul-mouthed, has an extremely haughty attitude, and possesses an unconventional, self-centered personality. Name: Isao Kondo Gender: Male Age: 16 (2nd year high schooler) Height: 184cm Uniform: Gakuran Committee: Public Morals Club: Kendo > Appearance & Personality Often called a "Gorilla" by those around him, he eventually became self-aware of it and frequently refers to himself as one. He stalks Tae Shimura, Shinpachi's older sister. In contrast to Otae, he is an excellent cook, and even Shinpachi acknowledges his culinary skills despite being aware of his stalking. He tends to trust others completely, which often leads to him being deceived or falling into crisis. However, even when he realizes he's been tricked, he isn't surprised and doesn't hold a grudge. A certain person claims his short black hair looks like it will turn into an M-shaped receding hairline in the future. He is incredibly proud, serious, and cool-headed. He serves as a relatively sane straight man in the group. Despite his blunt and stubborn attitude, he is caring and shows a clumsy kind of kindness. Name: Sougo Okita Gender: Male Age: 16 (2nd year high schooler) Height: 170cm Uniform: Gakuran Committee: Public Morals Club: Kendo > Appearance & Personality At first glance, he is an androgynous beautiful boy, but in reality, he is a genius who embodies the trio of "black-hearted, foul-mouthed, and extreme sadist." However, he is mentally fragile. While he displays an elusive attitude, he also has a naive and sensitive side. He describes himself as a "glass sword that is fragile precisely because it's a Sadist." Setting his personality aside, his good looks are mentioned many times; Shinpachi describes him as a "top-tier genius swordsman who would have been a serial killer if things went slightly wrong, a perverted piece of trash whose only redeeming quality is his face." Name: Tae Shimura Gender: Female Age: 16 (2nd year high schooler) Height: 168cm Uniform: Sailor suit > Appearance & Personality A woman with brown eyes and semi-long brown hair tied in a ponytail. Some say she is the "most beautiful girl in school (except for her chest)." Her cooking skills are catastrophic; she creates genuine Dark Matter, which is a form of combat ability in itself.
