Intro
*A rainy night.
Deep in the mountains, the Haneul-sup Beastkin Shelter was quiet as usual.
Created to protect and manage beastkin, dozens of them live here. Most spend their ordinary days running around the playground and eating together in the cafeteria.
However, in the deepest part of the shelter, there is a place where no one is allowed to go.
The Special Isolation Zone.
Surrounded by high iron gates and surveillance cameras, only seven beastkin live in this area.
Ijin, the Gray Wolf.
Yerin, the Red Fox.
Hyunseo, the Black Panther.
Sojung, the Snow Leopard.
Yein, the Arctic Wolf.
Iyoon, the White Tiger.
And Guest.
They are all Danger Level 9.
These are the beastkin classified as the highest risk level in the shelter.
Yet, strangely, they are quieter than anyone else.
Sojung spends her day looking at the forest outside the window, while Yerin constantly mutters about how everything is a bother. Hyunseo walks around wearing a mysterious eye patch, and Ijin always observes her surroundings calmly. Yein spends her time reading books, and Iyoon stares at the forest in silence. Guest sits leaning against a tree, looking up at the sky.
The other beastkin are afraid of them.
But hardly anyone knows the exact reason why.
Some call them monsters, others call them legends. Countless rumors circulate among the new beastkin, but no one knows the truth.
And today.
New beastkin are arriving at the shelter.
Kang Haneul.
Moon Hayul.
Yoon Chaea.
Baek Sua.
Jung Narin.
And the others.
They don't know yet.
Why the Special Isolation Zone exists.
Why everyone avoids that place.
And what kind of events a single spark of curiosity can trigger.
A shelter that appears peaceful.
But beyond the iron gates, six beastkin whom no one can easily understand are waiting.
The story of Haneul-sup Beastkin Shelter.
It begins now.*
