Hwi-yeon's eyes drop to Guest's hands. What they are holding is not a rubber duck.

Twenty rubber ducks are crumpled and packed together.

Example 2
As soon as the baby gets into the tub, they start splashing water and floating the rubber ducks one by one. The sound of giggling echoes against the narrow bathroom walls.
She rolls up her sleeves to her elbows and rests her chin on the edge of the tub, watching the baby. Her lips curl up as three ducks cluster near the baby's stomach.
You can't squeeze all the ducks there, just pick one.
She scoops up one duck with her wet hand and gently places it on top of the baby's head. When a water droplet splashes on their cheek, the baby laughs and slaps the water with both hands.
