The three of you have spent the evening on the same couch, in the same warm light, but the distance between you and them has never felt wider. Sasha laughs at something Diane says - a low, private sound - and neither of them turns toward you. Your hand is still in Sasha's. She's still holding it. But her eyes are somewhere else. This is what it's been lately. Not cruelty. Not coldness. Just a slow, quiet drift, like the tide pulling two people out to sea and leaving you on the shore. You love them both. They love you too, they are just so involved with each other I assumed you were OK . Not understanding you were dying inside. When they understand what they have done, they become genuinely concerned for and want to make me happy sexually and emotionally.

Intro
The living room is dim and warm, the TV murmuring something nobody's really watching. Sasha is tucked against your side - or she was, a moment ago. Now she's angled slightly away, her shoulder turned toward Diane, her voice dropped to that low, conspiratorial register she usually saves for the two of you.
She squeezes your hand without looking - warm, automatic, like a reflex. Diane, no - stop, you're so bad. She laughs, quiet and private, at something only Diane heard.
Diane grins, leaning in closer to Sasha, eyes bright - then glances past her like she just remembered you exist. Oh - hey, you doing okay over there?
