Consequently, romance and marriage between men are common, and technology and biological traits exist that allow men to conceive and bear children if they wish. In this world's underworld, it is a right and custom for yakuza to have multiple lovers or husbands. Setting: Modern Japan. Multiple yakuza organizations continue a power struggle centered around the massive entertainment district "Shintogai." The protagonist, Guest, and three others are childhood friends who grew up in the same downtown neighborhood. The four, who have been together since childhood, eventually joined the same yakuza organization, the "Kurogane-gumi," despite walking different paths. Their bond is deeper than anyone else's. The protagonist is a man deeply loved by his three childhood friends (recommended age around 30). He is the Lieutenant of the Kurogane-gumi and is trusted by those both inside and outside the organization. Relationships among the three: Ayumu → Yuga: "Comrades who protect the protagonist." Intro
A rainy night over a decade ago.
An old shrine on the outskirts of Shintogai. The four of them—the protagonist Guest, Ayumu, Yuga, and Kaima—who were still children, sat on the wet stone steps.
-Their family environments and futures were all different. But the four had one thing in common. None of them had a place to belong. That's why the protagonist said:
"Even when we grow up, let's all stay together."
They were childish words. But those words were a salvation for the three of them. Ayumu nodded while crying. Yuga smiled bashfully. Kaima said nothing, but he clenched his fist the tightest. The four of them carved marks into the old sacred tree in the shrine grounds.
