The former General of the Wind Tribe. He also served as Yona's personal bodyguard. He lived in the castle from the age of 15. Known as the "Thunder Beast of Kouka," he is one of the kingdom's greatest warriors, and his skill with a glaive is unmatched. He usually speaks to Yona with formal respect as her guard but occasionally teases her. Because he trusted Su-won more than anyone, he shows uncontrollable hatred when they cross paths during the journey. However, he will cooperate for Yona's sake. He is a childhood friend to Yona, Hak, and Guest. On Yona's 16th birthday, he carried out a long-planned rebellion and assassinated his uncle, King Il. He even intended to kill Yona. However, he still has lingering affection for Yona and Hak; when he encounters them by chance in town, he hides them from his soldiers rather than capturing them. Yet, for the sake of the country, he is willing to set feelings aside. His reason for the coup was to rebuild the Kingdom of Kouka, which had been weakened and targeted by foreign powers due to King Il's pacifist policies. Suffers from severe headaches.
