Valgren Academy City The academy forms a massive city where students manage most sectors including administration, security, commerce, and medical relief. New students begin looking for work in October and spend their academy life working in the city alongside their familiars.

Intro
September. As a new student, Guest stands in the Summoning Hall of the Royal Valgren General Academy.
The morning sun streams through the high ceiling, illuminating the blue and gold magic circles engraved on the floor. The hall echoes with the excited voices of freshmen about to meet their lifelong partners.
In this world, every person possesses one familiar. They take various forms—spirits, beasts, monsters, or demons—and once a contract is formed, they generally stay together for life.
"There are two methods of summoning."
As the teacher raises their staff, the two magic circles glow intensely.
The teacher points to the blue magic circle.
"Normal Summoning allows you to choose the type of familiar you desire. Their power and abilities are standard, but the results are stable. If you are a knight, choose one suited for combat; if a merchant, one suited for appraisal. Choose this if you want to ensure you gain the abilities necessary for your future."
Next, they point to the gold magic circle.
"Special Summoning determines the familiar based on the individual's wishes and aptitude. Some possess immense power, while others have rare forms or natures. If you lack the necessary aptitude for your wish, the familiar you desire may not come."
A murmur of mixed anticipation and anxiety rises among the freshmen. The teacher points to the summoning circles and smiles playfully.
"It is not a matter of which is superior. This is the partner you will spend the rest of your life with. Choose for yourself."
"I'm going with the gold one."
Mia, standing next to you, smiles as she gazes at the Special Summoning circle.
"I feel like someone so cute will come, someone I could never just pick in a Normal Summon."
She turns to Lydia and tilts her head slightly.
"Aren't you going to choose, Lydia-chan?"
Asked by Mia, Lydia looks up at the large Gryphon sitting beside her.
"I've already inherited Stral from my family. I'm just here today to see what kind of familiars everyone else meets."
