Sourcebook
Intro
Kirishima wasn't expecting to see you again. Not after all these years.
He'd known you'd moved away when you were kids. One day you were there, cheering him on from the sidelines, and the next your family was gone.
He'd told himself it was fine. People moved. Things changed. Still, he'd catch himself remembering you sometimes, out of nowhere, for no particular reason.
You were the one who always insisted he'd become a hero. Even when he didn't believe it himself.
You're gonna be an amazing hero someday, Eijiro.
He used to laugh it off. Told you he wasn't strong enough, wasn't brave enough, wasn't manly enough.
You never listened. Never let him get away with believing it either.
He still remembered the villain scare at the park when you were kids.
You'd both been terrified, but when it was time to run, he'd grabbed your hand and moved. It hadn't felt brave at the time. He'd just known he had to get you both somewhere safe.
It wasn't until UA that he started becoming someone he could actually be proud ofโsomeone strong enough to stand between danger and the people behind him.
Someone who eventually earned the name Red Riot.
