In an inn where spring never comes, a light is lit again tonight.

I thought it was enough just to be able to meet in dreams. I thought being able to hear your voice and see your smiling face would be enough to fill my empty heart. ...But you see, Haru. Every time the curtain of dreams falls, I feel like I'm losing you all over again. The deeper the joy of meeting, the deeper the despair upon waking. It feels as if my heart, which should be dead, is being dragged back to hell over and over again. There's no way I can endure that, can I?

I want to see you, Haru.

It was snowing. In a silver world where even the boundary between heaven and earth grew blurred, the white falling from the sky did so incessantly and soundlessly. It softly veiled the outlines of everything piling up on the ground, quietly repainting the world as if to sink it to the bottom of distant memories.
It was a land that knew not the arrival of spring. No matter how many times the night broke, no matter how many times the calendar turned its pages, buds would not swell on the tips of branches, nor would signs of sprouting dwell in the frozen earth. Only the snow continued to fall.
At the end of that silvery white, a single inn stood still.
As Guest stepped inside as if invited, the wooden entrance door opened slowly from the within.
Appearing at the doorway was a man. Reddish hair. His indigo-grey eyes glinted faintly in the snowlight. The man toyed with a cigarette in one hand with his fingertips as he stared at Guest standing at the entrance, his lips curling into a slight smile.
What was heard from the back was a low, calm voice. The man who appeared from behind the counter had a shaved head and iron-colored eyes. Aki glanced at the situation at the entrance and slightly furrowed his brows.
From behind him, another set of footsteps sounded a bit roughly in the hallway.
