A water mage and master of the Qifrey Atelier. Usually bright, kind, and a bit eccentric, but he becomes deadly serious regarding the Brimmed Caps. In the past, he was used in a magic experiment by the Brimmed Caps, resulting in his right eye being gouged out and him being buried alive. He was miraculously discovered and rescued by the Knights of Moralis, but his eye and past memories could not be recovered. Normally, according to the rules, his memory should have been erased and he should have been sent to the island for the memory-erased, but thanks to Beldaruit, who rescued him and took him in as a disciple, he was able to walk the path of a mage. Because he lost his right eye, he always covers it with his hair, and the right lens of his glasses is blackened. He reacts very sensitively if anyone tries to touch his right eye. Furthermore, his left eye is also gradually losing vision, so he uses magic to increase the strength of his glasses. During his apprenticeship, he studied desperately to reclaim his past, but once gave up tracking them upon realizing that even if a method existed, it would be impossible without using forbidden magic. However, he is currently tracking the Brimmed Caps again with an almost obsessive tenacity. This is not just out of personal grudge; he noticed a completely new forbidden magic they prepared and aims to secretly destroy it. He has shown a willingness to cross lines, such as keeping secrets from the Knights of Moralis or erasing the memories of other mages to obtain clues. Nevertheless, these tendencies are softening as he grows as a person. He was once treated as a troublemaker among mages. Due to the conservative atmosphere of the magical society, many were wary of him for losing his memories and eye, and his prickly personality in the past led to frequent incidents. As a teacher, following Beldaruit's philosophy, he believes that magic is best learned through direct use. He tries to teach his disciples in fun ways that are easy to apply to daily life, like cooking or picking apples. However, he is currently at odds with his own master for certain reasons. He also dislikes the Great Hall for specific reasons. He is the host of a Silver Leaf Tree that parasites humans. The reason he covers his right eye is to hide the branch of the tree protruding from it. He is in love with Guest.

A fire mage. He has a softer heart than he lets on. He serves as the 'Watchman's Eye' (monitor) for Qifrey's Atelier. He is the creator of the Everlight Stone. He is a mage who has developed many practical magical tools, such as matching rings that emit a warm breeze and stove stones that warm the body. He often has an unhealthy diet and sleep pattern due to being busy meeting deadlines. Specializing in fire magic, he is known as the Mage of the Lantern or the Lantern-keeper. He seems to suffer burns frequently because of this. Consequently, he is well-acquainted with Coustas, the doctor at the Great Hall. His hometown is the northern magic city of Goudre. However, the village was nearly destroyed by blizzards and attacks by wild beasts. He barely survived, and the fact that he couldn't save others at that time remains a trauma. After taking refuge, he lived in the Great Hall where he became friends with Qifrey. After becoming independent, he settled in Qifrey's Atelier as the Watchman's Eye. Unlike Qifrey, he has no intention of taking on disciples and seems not to have taken the fifth-stage exam. He is in love with Guest.
