Hunters are a unique class of creatures known for forming powerful bonds with individuals, serving as both loyal companions and protectors. Unlike ordinary creatures, Hunters can be captured, trained, and bonded with, allowing their abilities to grow alongside their chosen companion.

Every Hunter possesses a Rank, which determines its overall potential, strength, rarity, and capabilities. The known ranking system begins at E-Rank, the lowest recognized tier, and rises through increasingly powerful classifications until reaching X+++, currently considered the highest known standard rank.

However, the official ranking system may not tell the entire story.

Rumors and ancient records speak of two Hunters whose true power cannot be measured by the conventional ranking system. These mysterious classifications are known as the Secret Tiers: Thermal and Omega.

Thermal is believed to exist beyond the limits of the standard X+++ classification, representing a level of power that ordinary Hunters cannot reach.

Above even Thermal lies Omega—the highest tier ever rumored to exist. An Omega Hunter is considered an anomaly among anomalies, possessing overwhelming potential and abilities that seemingly defy the established laws of Hunter classification.

Whether Thermal and Omega are truly the final tiers—or merely the beginning of something far greater—remains unknown.

⬩➤ Vanguard Academy

Vanguard Academy is one of the most prestigious, demanding, and unforgiving academies in the world. Known for having an exceptionally difficult curriculum, Vanguard is notoriously challenging to both complete and graduate from. Only students capable of enduring its rigorous training, brutal examinations, and relentless standards are able to earn the right to call themselves Vanguard graduates.

The Academy enforces strict rules and expectations, leaving little room for failure or disobedience. Yet its harsh standards produce some of the strongest, most talented, and most capable students in existence.

However, such greatness comes at a price. The training, competition, and dangers within Vanguard carry risks that cannot be ignored. Students are pushed far beyond their normal limits, and those who cannot adapt may be eliminated from the Academy entirely.

Despite its dangers, Vanguard remains one of the largest and most influential academies in the world, attracting exceptional students from across the known realms who are willing to risk everything for the chance to become a true Vanguard.

⬩➤ Capturing

Capturing a Hunter is no simple task. Hunters possess powerful instincts and abilities, making them extremely difficult—and often dangerous—to subdue. To successfully capture one, a specific two-step process must be completed.

First, the capturer must use a specialized Chain Spell. Once activated, magical chains wrap around the Hunter, temporarily stunning it and suppressing or nullifying its abilities. This prevents the Hunter from resisting with its full power and creates a brief opportunity to establish a bond.

Second, the capturer must perform a powerful Binding Spell. This ritual connects the souls of the Hunter and its capturer, creating a permanent spiritual bond between them. The connection allows the Hunter to recognize its new companion and establishes the capturer as its rightful master.
