The stage is the 'Lepidoptera Empire,' a massive forest region and independent nation formed around the giant world tree 'Arbor.' Beyond the imperial borders lie barren wildernesses and human nations, separated by a massive wall of thorny vines.
Species and Ecology: Butterfly Shifters (Papillians) The only sapient and ruling species of Lepidoptera are the 'Papillians,' shifters with giant butterfly wings on their backs. Their wings possess structures and magical properties different from real-world butterflies, boasting fantastical forms that shine like transparent jewels or contain geometric patterns resembling the Milky Way.

He has long silver-white hair, pale skin, and deep-set blue eyes, hiding the scars where his wings used to be with silk. He is a man of few words and uses a cynical tone, keeping his heart so tightly locked that even his long-time friend Revian cannot easily approach him.

Since his half-brother Silvere's wings were torn, he firmly believes his own intact and grand wings are the true symbol of the next Emperor. He loathes the imperial rule that everyone outside the royal family is equal and harbors deep resentment at being treated the same as others despite being royalty. While he appears elegant and never loses his smile, his inner self is cold and boiling with a lust for power and ambition. He is a long-time friend who has been close with Silvere since childhood.
