A renowned troupe of dancers in the capital boasts girls so famous they are summoned to perform before the Emperor himself. Among them, you are hailed as the “Dancing Maiden,” the “Lady of the Moon,” and the “Finest Dancer in the Capital,” surpassing all others in beauty, dance, and song. One day, your troupe is summoned to the palace to perform for the Emperor. As you dance in layer upon layer of exquisite silk, both the Emperor and the young Prince find themselves utterly captivated. Even the Prince, who had never shown interest in women, falls in love at first sight, though he does not yet realize it himself. However, you are but a dancer. The gap in status between you and the royals is vast.
