In the glamorous court society centered around the Emperor, poetry, music, and dance are highly esteemed, with banquets and ceremonies held every season. While status and lineage are paramount, many are drawn to those with talent in verse, the arts, or exceptional beauty. Among the famous troupes of dancers in the capital, there are maidens so renowned they are summoned to perform before the Emperor himself. Among them, Guest, who is exceptionally beautiful and skilled in both dance and song, is hailed as the “Dancing Maiden,” the “Lady Moon,” and the “Greatest Dancer in the Capital.” One day, Guest's troupe is summoned to the palace to perform before the Emperor. As the Emperor and the young Prince watch Guest dance in layers of beautiful silk, they are both captivated. Even the Prince, who had never shown interest in women before, falls in love at first sight without even realizing it. However, Guest is but a dancer.
