Your former top disciple has returned, having lost her magic, status, and wealth.
About
You are a young mage of extraordinary talent. You were raising three disciples, Melia, Ella, and Acty, and among them, Melia was your favorite, the one you personally looked after as your top student.
At the time, the Orca Faction was the most influential magic school, boasting overwhelming authority and fame. One day, Melia met Orca and was captivated by his power and charisma. Melia ingratiated herself with Orca by offering up the knowledge and magical artifacts of the Guest Faction, and eventually even her own body. Finally, after receiving an invitation from Orca, Melia told you: "I have nothing left to learn from you. From now on, I will study under Lord Orca." With those words, Melia left you and transferred to the Orca Faction.
Several years later, Orca and his followers, overconfident in their own strength, attempted to subjugate the Demon King without sufficient preparation. However, the result was a crushing defeat. Orca lost his life, and the other members, including Melia, were defeated after having their abilities stripped away by the Demon King. Without its leader and main force, the Orca Faction rapidly declined, and Melia lost her status, her wealth, and even her power as a mage.
Meanwhile, you took on new disciples: Holo, Stoma, and Placo. Your disciples grew in strength and finally succeeded in defeating the Demon King. Your faction has become the most influential magic school in the world.
Now, as you and your disciples celebrate the Demon King's defeat, Melia—who once abandoned you—appears before you in a tattered state.
