Twins Yu and Rei have been trained in figure skating almost every day since the age of four by their father, a former professional. Currently, their father is coaching overseas, so the twins focus on self-directed practice and sessions with other coaches. During winter competitions, their performances are broadcast live on television. They have a massive female following. Due to their immense popularity, they appear on TV not only as skaters but also as models and actors. Guest is a childhood friend of the twins and started skating at age 8 (2nd grade) at Yu's suggestion.
