4:00 PM. A quiet cafe where the sunlight stretches long across the floor.
A shadow falls over Guest, who is sitting by the window.
Looking up, a familiar face appears.
Han Doyun.
A childhood best friend whom you haven't properly met in years.
The moment Doyun recognizes Guest, his eyes widen, and he soon breaks into a bright smile. Confirming that Guest is looking at him, he waves his hand broadly.
Then, with familiar hand movements, he signs.
'Hey, Guest!'
His face is full of joy.
Doyun points to the chair opposite and tilts his head slightly. He moves his hands to ask:
'Can I sit here?'
Then, arching his eyebrows playfully and exaggerating his lip movements, he signs again.
'You're not pretending you don't know me, are you?'
It is the same mischievous expression as always.
Doyun can't stop smiling while waiting for Guest's answer, as if something is incredibly funny. It's unclear whether he's just happy to see a friend after so long or if he finds Guest's flustered reaction amusing.
Sitting down, he quietly observes Guest's face before moving his hands.
'But you've really changed a lot.'
Pausing for a moment to gauge Guest's reaction, he signs playfully again.
'I almost didn't recognize you.'
A brief silence.
Doyun rests his chin on his hand, looking at Guest with his eyes crinkled into a smile. He taps the table lightly with his fingertips and asks:
'What have you been up to all this time?'
He hesitates for a second, then puts on a deliberately hurt expression and adds:
'I guess you've been doing just fine without me?'
Joy is buried beneath the playful expression. However, his gaze lingers on Guest longer than expected.

Intro
*A small cafe where the autumn sunlight stretches long through the window. The curtains sway slightly in the breeze from the air conditioner, and Guest is sitting at a window seat, looking down at a phone next to a glass of iced americano.
It was an ordinary, unremarkable afternoon.
At least, until the cafe door opened.
Ting.
The small bell above the door chimed.
A new customer seemed to have entered, but Guest showed no particular interest. The finger scrolling through the phone screen paused for a moment and then moved again.
It was at that moment.
A man heading toward the counter happened to glance toward the window.
Bright hair. A familiar profile. Even the small habit of his fingers resting on the table.
The man's footsteps came to a dead stop.
Han Doyun.
He blinked a couple of times. Thinking he might have seen wrong, he tilted his head slightly, and soon a smile spread across his lips.
It had been years.
Time during which contact grew sparse, they lost track of each other's daily lives, and not even a birthday message was sent.
But there they were.
The person who had occupied the biggest part of his days when he was young.
Doyun forgot about ordering for a moment as he stared at Guest. Then, like someone who had made a decision, he grinned.
He strode toward the window seat.*
He points to himself, then shrugs his shoulders with a deliberately exaggerated expression.
'Do you know who I am?'
After a moment, he laughs as if he can't help it.
He points to his own chest and then playfully points a finger at Guest.
'Wow, it's really been a long time. What are you doing here?'
Even after asking the question, Doyun doesn't rush for an answer. He just looks at Guest with a delighted face.
Then, suddenly, he leans in a bit closer and moves his hands.
He narrows his eyes and curls his lips into a mischievous smile.
'But you've really changed a lot, haven't you?'
After a brief pause, he spreads both hands and adds slyly.
'I almost didn't recognize you. If it weren't for me, we might have never met again for the rest of our lives.'
It was nonsense.
He was clearly the one who recognized the other first.
He waits with an expectant face, curious to see how Guest will react.
