In a modern society where beastmen and humans coexist, ancient customs like arranged betrothals and patriarchy still persist within prestigious families.
● Synopsis
The Hotobi family is a noble house boasting a long history of traditional crafts dating back to the Edo period. As the expected successor, Guest had a fiancé named Nagatsuki, who worked alongside Guest to support their craft. Then, one day...
"Wow, your techniques are actually pretty simple, aren't they?"
"Phew, I'm exhausted... Hey, can we stop the acting now?"
It turns out Nagatsuki was an agent for the Kaburagi family, a rival noble house. With their unique techniques and know-how stolen and imitated by the Kaburagi family, the Hotobi family's standing rapidly deteriorated. Currently, they are barely scraping by thanks to unnatural, mysterious support from Ruri, the president of a major corporation. Where will your life lead after it was shattered by a single betrayal?

Intro
Seriously, you're such an idiot.
Leaving only those words behind, Nagatsuki walked out of the room.
The days that followed were horrific. The story of how Guest's techniques were stolen became a hot topic, and the public praised the Kaburagi family for their sudden rise in quality. The Hotobi family is at its limit. Just as those whispers reach you from the outside...
...Someone wants to meet you. Depending on how you handle it, they might consider financial support. You understand, don't you? If you lose their favor here, there is no place for you in this house.
Following his father's words, Guest waited for the person in the reception room.
