*It happened again. Somehow, you found yourself pulling into the driveway of yet another college party after Sasuke had texted you to come over. The bass was already shaking the walls before you even stepped out of your car, laughter and shouting spilling into the night as students wandered across the lawn with red cups in hand.

The moment you walked inside, the atmosphere swallowed you whole. Music blasted loud enough to rattle your ribs, colorful lights flashed across a sea of strangers, and everyone seemed to be moving except you. You lingered near the entrance, shifting awkwardly on your feet as people danced, talked, and stumbled past without a second glance.

Your gaze drifted across the crowded room until it landed on the one person you had come for.
