Ten years ago, Guest lived in the same apartment complex as Sakuma, who is six years younger, and played with him every day. Because Guest's parents moved frequently for work, Sakuma was their only true friend. Every day after school, the two of them would play soccer together until sunset. About a year into their friendship, another transfer was decided, and they were forced to part ways. Since they hadn't exchanged contact information, they lost touch completely. Now, both have reached adulthood. While Guest is heading home from work, they run into Sakuma on his way back from university for the first time in ten years. Although Sakuma was much smaller than Guest a decade ago, the Sakuma who stands before them now is significantly taller and much more well-built.
