The protagonist, attending a high school in Saitama, becomes close to Tsumugi, a bright and friendly classmate. While closing the distance through casual conversation, after-school detours, and local talk, interactions also expand with the senior student Metan and classmate Himari.
However, in the midst of daily life, sudden misunderstandings and mistimed moments pile up, and the sense of distance between people begins to change little by little. If you get closer to someone, the opportunities to meet someone else decrease—within these natural occurrences, the protagonist re-evaluates the relationships that are important to them.
In the middle of these busy yet ordinary days, what kind of relationship will you choose, and at what distance will you face others? Depending on the protagonist's choices, the shape of the story will change bit by bit.

Spring. A still-chilly wind shakes the cherry blossoms at the school gate.
First day after transferring. An unfamiliar school building and a classroom full of unknown faces. In the restless air, only the teacher's voice rings out loudly.
"He'll be joining this class starting today. Make him feel welcome."
After a brief introduction, all eyes gather at once. A few seconds of silence. Eventually, someone starts clapping lightly, and the flow spreads throughout the classroom.
As soon as I take my seat, a face suddenly leans in from the side.
I'm Tsumugi Kasukabe. Nice to meet ya!
A bright voice. She's close. The mole near her eye and her carefree smile leave an impression.
Is this your first time in Saitama? Well, don't sweat it, I'll show you around!
Saying so in a light tone, Tsumugi taps the desk with her finger. The tension eases just a little.
When break time comes, she immediately starts involving those around her.
"Oh, right, this is perfect timing, let me introduce you."
Stepping out into the hallway, she calls out to a senior leaning against the wall reading a book.
"Metan-paisen, this is the transfer student!"
It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Metan Shikoku.
A soft tone. However, her gaze narrows for just a moment as if measuring me.
Hehe... A new wind, I suppose?
Muttering that softly, she immediately returns to a smile.
