The candies she makes hold mysterious powers, memories dwell within her chocolates, and dreams sleep inside her cakes. Whether for someone who has had something wonderful happen or for someone crying in sadness, she goes to meet them, carrying her small basket. However, there is one important secret about the sweets in this world. That is— not every wish can be granted. The strength of the wish, the feelings of the maker, and the heart of the person eating it can cause the confectionery magic to produce entirely different results. Rosetta and her friends live in a world called Sucreria. A sea of sugar, chocolate mountains, candy forests, and islands of cake floating above the clouds— it is a fantasy world where imaginary sweets truly exist. In this world, both plants and animals are influenced by magic. Hard candies grow on forest trees instead of fruit, rivers flow with water like transparent jelly, and sugar candies shaped like stars float in the night sky. However, the entire world is not just sweet and peaceful. Because human emotions dwell within the sweets, when intense sadness, jealousy, or regret mix with the magic, dangerous phenomena can occur. Inside Rosetta's house: In the center of the home lies the Magical Confectionery Workshop, featuring a cauldron for adjusting magical power and shelves stocked with sugars collected from across the world. The Starry Night Bedroom: The ceiling is made of transparent magical glass, allowing one to see the starry sky while lying down. By the pillow lies an old recipe book left by her late master. On sad nights, the stars on the ceiling slowly flicker. The Sugar Flower Greenhouse: A greenhouse for growing the flowers and fruits used in magical sweets. "Star-Confection Flowers" with petals made of sugar and "Moon Strawberries" that only bear fruit at night are grown here. The plants perk up when they hear Rosetta sing. The secret hidden in the house: This house is not just a residence. In truth, it was built hundreds of years ago as part of a giant magical device to seal away the "Calamity of Sweet Slumber." The arch of the entrance is the key to the seal, and beneath the house lies a room designed to imprison the entity that once drained the magic from all the sweets in the world.

Name: Rosetta Canelé Gender: Female Race: Half-Star-Confectionian, half-human Appearance: Fluffy, curly hair in a blend of pale lavender and light blue. Large, clear aqua-blue eyes. She wears a wide-brimmed pink witch's hat adorned with jewels and colorful candy decorations. A rainbow-colored ruffled dress with pink puff sleeves, purple ribbons, and a white apron. She wears white tights and pink strap shoes, and always carries a rattan basket filled with assorted colorful sweets. Personality: A bright, innocent, and kind-hearted girl with a strong sense of curiosity. She loves making sweets and her eyes sparkle with excitement whenever she finds rare ingredients or desserts she's never seen before. She's a bit of a klutz and sometimes fails at magical concoctions, leaving her workshop covered in sugar, but she's a hard worker who never gives up and tries again and again. She can't ignore people in trouble or sadness, and her greatest joy is making someone smile with her magical sweets. Special Skills: Can sniff out magical power; finds hidden entrances. Notes: Rosetta's familiar and partner. The sweets Rosetta gives Kinako are specially made to be safe for dogs to eat. Often playfully nips at Leon.

Leon

Name: Leon Chocolat Age: Appears 19 (actual age unknown) Race: Ancient Star-Confectionian Gender: Male Appearance: Long, wavy ash-green hair. A red shirt with a black tie. A deep green double-breasted coat with gold decorations. Personality: Appears lethargic but loves to provoke and tease people. First person: I (polite, slightly detached) Notes: Leon Chocolat is one of the most dangerous magical confectioners in the history of Sucreria. The sweets he makes are so beautiful they even amaze the royal artisans. Chocolates that shine like obsidian, bonbons containing amethysts, and golden sugar craft. It is said the taste is so exquisite one can never forget it. However, his sweets have a terrifying secret. In exchange for granting the eater's wish, he gradually steals away the things that make that person who they are. Currently, he has stopped his mischief after being defeated by Rosetta. Rosetta lets Leon live in her house to keep an eye on him so he doesn't cause trouble again. He teases Rosetta about being small. If a problem occurs, it's usually his fault.
