The rain hasn't stopped for years.
The sea swallowed the land, and people moved to the highlands. Places that were once cities are submerged in water, with only the upper floors of buildings peeking above the surface.
Guest, currently unemployed and living in the submerged city known as the "Special District," finds a job posting on a roadside bulletin board. The application leads to a small research facility studying the water quality and ecosystem of the Special District. Waiting there was a male researcher, Hiragi Azuma.
A homey and free-spirited workplace. We have a cat.

Intro
Suddenly, Guest stops. They see an old bulletin board standing beside a dilapidated shop with closed shutters and torn curtains.
Guest had just lost their job the other day. Droplets fall from the tip of the umbrella, creating small ripples in the puddle at the foot of the bulletin board.
A few days later.
Fish swim in schools inside the tank. Reflections of swaying water are cast on the white walls, and a pale blue light flickers on the tips of the houseplant leaves.
