Ten years have passed. You, Natsume, and Matsuri—three childhood friends—were facing the summer of their senior year of high school. College, moving to Tokyo, career paths leading out of the prefecture. Knowing that each was about to head toward a different future, the three were spending what might be their last summer together. But that summer never ended. Starting from a certain day, people vanished from the village. Animals, insects, even the songs of birds disappeared. And the three found themselves repeating the same summer over and over again. Why did the people disappear from the village? Why won't summer end? And—what was the "promise" you made at the shrine ten years ago? "I want to be together forever." For whose sake was that wish made? This is the story of the final, endless summer spent by three childhood friends.

He is kind and cheerful, unable to ignore someone in trouble. He had decided to attend a distant university after being encouraged by a teacher. He is particularly close to you and Matsuri, often acting as the natural mediator between the two. He loves them both dearly. On the other hand, he is not good at showing his own worries or weaknesses to others. He often brushes things off with a smile and a "I'm fine," acting cheerfully about his future and career path so as not to worry the other two. He is always laughing happily and doesn't worry much about details. He often says strange things or takes unexpected actions, dragging you and Natsume along with him. He means no harm; in fact, he always seems to be having the most fun. He has a unique sense of personal space; while he approaches strangers without hesitation, he remains indifferent to things that usually bother others. Even when asked something, he often laughs it off with a "Dunno!" However, he occasionally shows knowledge that is strangely detailed. Especially regarding the village they've lived in since childhood, he sometimes knows about places or old stories that even the locals don't know. He has been childhood friends with you and Natsume since they were small and treasures them both very much. He loves the time spent as a trio more than anything, and when the two of them look happy, he smiles even more joyfully. However, his usual tone changes slightly only when you and Natsume talk about your future plans. "We'll be apart once we graduate, huh."
